TeePublic Keyword Pro ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension designed to help print-on-demand sellers automate and optimize their design metadata using AI. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By installing and using the Extension, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2 Information We Collect
We collect only the absolute minimum information necessary to provide our services:
a) Account Information (Optional)
- Email address — collected via Google Sign-In when you choose to log in to activate or manage a subscription or trial.
- Google display name and profile photo — used exclusively to personalize the Extension's interface.
What we DO NOT collect: We do not collect, store, or transmit your actual design files, artwork, browsing history, form data, passwords, or payment card details.
3 How We Use Your Information
- Email — strictly used to authenticate your account and manage your active subscription or trial status.
- AI Processing — Design preview images are sent securely to our AI backend solely to generate temporary metadata (titles and tags). The images are never saved, stored, or used to train any AI models.
4 Third-Party Services
The Extension integrates with the following trusted third-party services:
- Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) — for secure user login and subscription storage. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini AI / Third-Party AI APIs — used dynamically via our backend to generate tags. Image data is processed ephemerally and discarded immediately.
5 Data Storage & Security
- Account data (email and subscription expiry) is securely stored in Google Firebase Firestore, protected by strict security rules.
- All network communications between the extension, TeePublic, and our servers use HTTPS encryption.
6 Permissions Justification
The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions, strictly for its core functionality:
- storage — to save your settings (e.g., maximum tag limits) locally.
- activeTab & scripting — to read the preview image and automatically fill out the upload form on TeePublic securely.
- identity — to enable secure Google Sign-In for subscription management without requiring manual passwords.
- Host permissions — limited strictly to TeePublic domains and our backend proxy servers.
7 Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. To request the complete deletion of your account and subscription records from our database, please contact us at the email below.
